How to Make Your Nissan Car Payment

Simplify making your Nissan car payment. Explore clear steps and all available options for managing your auto loan effortlessly.

Making your Nissan car payment involves several steps, whether you prefer digital convenience or traditional methods. This guide provides information to help you manage your Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) account effectively. Understanding the available options ensures timely payments and helps maintain your vehicle financing.

Preparing for Your Payment

Before initiating any payment, gather essential account information. Your Nissan Finance account number is a primary identifier, typically found on your welcome letter or monthly billing statements. It may also be on the detachable payment coupon or accessible within the “Manage Vehicle Accounts” section of an existing online account.

If new to the online system, registering for a Nissan Finance online account requires your account number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Have your bank account details, including routing and account numbers, or your credit/debit card information ready for processing payments. This preparation streamlines the payment process.

Making Payments Online

The Nissan Finance online portal allows you to manage car payments, offering both one-time and recurring options. After logging into your account on nissanfinance.com or through the NMAC app, navigate to the payment section. Select “Pay Now” to choose between a “One-Time Payment” or setting up a “Recurring Payment.”

For a one-time payment, enter the payment amount and select your method, such as an electronic check or a Visa/MasterCard Check Card. Review all entered details for accuracy before confirming and submitting the payment. You may receive an email confirmation upon successful submission.

Setting up recurring payments ensures automatic monthly payments from your designated bank account. This feature helps prevent missed payments and can be managed within the online portal, where you select payment dates and confirm the setup. The platform also provides access to your contract terms, loan status, and statements.

Alternative Payment Methods

Beyond the online portal, Nissan Finance offers other ways to submit car payments. You can pay by phone through Paymentus, a third-party service, by dialing 1-833-648-0173. This method accepts one-time payments using an ATM Debit Card, Visa/MasterCard Check Card, or electronic check/ACH, though a convenience fee, typically around $3.90, is applied. When paying by phone, provide your account number, payment amount, and banking or card details.

Paying by mail is another option. Send a check or money order payable to NMAC, including your full account number for proper allocation. While some older accounts received coupon books, current practice uses monthly billing statements for the payment address. Find the mailing address on your statement or the “Contact Us” page on nissanfinance.com. To avoid late fees, mail your payment several business days before your due date, allowing for mail delivery and processing time.
