These plans generally have no deductibles, waiting periods, or annual maximums, offering 10% to 60% discounts on procedures. COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is a temporary solution, allowing individuals to continue previous group dental coverage for 18 to 36 months. COBRA is more expensive, as the individual pays the full premium plus an administrative fee.
