Fetch: How Many Receipts Per Day Can You Submit?

Master Fetch Rewards receipt submissions. Understand the key rules and processes to successfully earn points and avoid common submission hurdles.

Fetch Rewards offers a straightforward way to earn points by submitting purchase receipts, which can then be redeemed for various gift cards. Users engage with the app by capturing images of physical receipts or by linking digital accounts to automatically track online purchases.

Daily Receipt Submission Threshold

Fetch Rewards implements a specific limit on the number of receipts users can submit. Individuals are permitted to submit up to 35 receipts within a rolling 8-day period. This submission window operates continuously, meaning that as older receipts fall outside the 8-day timeframe, new submissions become possible.

This limit applies to both accepted and rejected physical receipt submissions, with the sole exception of duplicate submissions. Receipts generated from online purchases, known as e-receipts, do not count towards this 35-receipt limit. Further attempts to upload receipts will not be accepted until previously submitted receipts cycle out of the 8-day window.

Qualifying Receipt Criteria

To be valid for Fetch Rewards, a receipt must meet specific conditions. Physical receipts must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date, while e-receipts have a longer window, up to 30 days from when the order was received or delivered. Each receipt needs to clearly display the store name, the date of the transaction, and the total amount spent.

Fetch accepts receipts from a broad spectrum of retailers, including grocery stores, supermarkets, wholesale clubs, and gas stations. The program primarily focuses on rewarding purchases of specific brands, so the presence of eligible brand items on a receipt can yield additional points. For e-receipts, the purchase must originate from a connected email or retailer account and must appear in the primary inbox; forwarded email receipts or photos of digital screens are not accepted. Ineligible receipt types include returns, utility bills, medical bills, and handwritten records.

Submission Process and Common Issues

Submitting receipts to Fetch Rewards involves methods for physical and electronic versions. For physical receipts, users access the camera function within the app and capture an image that clearly shows the store name, date, and total. If a receipt is particularly long, the app allows for multiple photos to ensure all necessary details are included.

E-receipts are submitted by linking eligible email or retailer accounts directly to the Fetch app. Once connected, the application automatically scans these accounts for qualifying purchases. While points for submitted receipts are often awarded quickly, the processing time for redeeming points for gift cards takes approximately 72 hours for security verification. Common reasons for rejected submissions include receipts being older than the allowed timeframe, missing essential information such as the total or date, or being a duplicate submission. Receipts that are not from the user’s own purchases are also subject to rejection.
